The Hippies Win!

It had to happen. The Hippies, BJ and Tyler, have won the Amazing Race 9. Eric and Jeremy came in second, with Ray and Yolanda coming in third.

Mad props to BJ and Tyler! Their positive and care-free attitude, excellent people skills in dealing with the natives, not to mention their multi-lingual skills, really made the difference. I really enjoyed watching those guys, even though at times they looked like they were just goofing off.

Typhoon ‘Caloy’: The Aftermath

Pictures of parts of my house’s roof after the typhoon. It has been a nightmare for me during the four days when I was without electricity. Though safely inside my house with my wife and kid, outside it was raining hard with the wind slamming against our roof.
